A native of Wisconsin, I have called a number of places home throughout my life. I have also lived and worked in Germany, the Washington, DC area, and Omaha, Nebraska, where I went to college and later worked for my alma mater.

I am grateful to my third-grade teacher, Mr. O, who instilled a love of writing in me from a young age. Thanks to his once-weekly creative writing class, he lit a spark for what would later become a calling and a career.

I am happiest working in roles that utilize my past experience as a journalist, such as public information officer roles and communication manager/director roles. I enjoy public servant work, government work, and roles in education.
